About John:
John’s journey into technology began when he took apart his first television set at eleven years old! This set off a life-long excitement for electronics and technology.
A powerful influence in John’s life was his Father. A entrepreneur, he taught John the powerful fundamentals of running your business focusing on metrics and operations. John gained his formal business and technical training at The Pennsylvania State University earning a Bachelor of science in accounting.
John started his extensive 30-year career in transformer manufacturing and injection molding. In 2007 John retired as a Chief Financial Officer of a precision electronics manufacturer to start Skilled Cyber. He was ready to share his expertise in technology and business acumen with the small business community in Connecticut. Unlike many IT Providers, John takes a “Business First” approach to working with clients. He uses his diverse experiences in Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales and Marketing to design IT solutions that fosters growth for the entire organization. In addition to technology deployments, John has conducted technical training seminars on cyber security, essential technology practices for small business and technology trends for Fortune 500 Executives to empower them to make stronger strategic decisions.
As an accomplished National Speaker, audience members have said his talks on Business and Personal Metrics are educational and inspiring. His esteemed list of speaking venues includes the Million Dollar Accelerator Entrepreneur Group at Nasdaq, The Cyber Security Form at the United Nations, The Export Story Summit at Harvard Club of Boston and regional T.V.
